Janice's Biscuitsrelics of the pioneers This recipe is from our friend Janice. Because of her husband's food allergies she is always looking for recipes that she likes that he can eat. These biscuits pass because they don't use any butter. They go together almost as fast as tube biscuits but they have a lot more flavor.
Preheat oven to 425. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Combine the oil and milk/water and add to the flour. Use a fork to mix together. Do not mix too much or they can get tough. Pat them out about an inch thick and cut into small circles (I usually use a small water glass). Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake until brown, about 15 minutes. |
